Delta Tau UK has launched a new range of brushless servo motors to complement its range of market leading motion controls. The new motors are low mass, high dynamic response models made exclusively for Delta Tau by the UK's leading motor manufacturer SEM.

The HDM motor's low-inertia brushless construction results in compact servo motors that are ideal for applications where space is at a premium or where rapid acceleration and deceleration are required. Standard features include neodymium iron-boron magnets, integral resolver feedback and Class F insulation.

Delta Tau HDM servomotors are available in a range of sizes with stall torque from 0.85Nm to 17Nm and maximum running speeds from 8000 rev/min to 2000 rev/min. Designed to give a sinusoidal 3-phase back-EMF waveform, the motors are an ideally suited for use with any of the motion controllers from Delta Tau.
